The API can be used on-the-fly to query information or be easily integrated with existing GIS systems or location driven platforms.
The CAP API is based on REST, has predictable resource-oriented URLs, accepts form-encoded request bodies, returns JSON-encoded responses, and uses standard HTTP response codes, authentication, and verbs. Authentication is organized on the oAuth protocol.
